Sunday morning was interesting. After our dinner the night before Cassie walked me to the taxi line to head back and then left to meet up with the group. We were told the name of the venue (Joe’s Garage) but only remembered the Joe’s part. We figured she’d ask around and find it, no big deal. However when I woke up at 7am Cassie wasn’t in our room. I asked the four other girls staying with us if they’d seen her last night and none had. Obviously starting to get worried I walked over to the room our guides were staying in to ask about her. Two of the three of them had just gotten back an hour ago and were in no condition to talk to me, so I kind of just bossed the new guy around.
“We need to find your boss’s number! I’ll keep calling til he picks up and you get a list of everyone in our group and knock on everyone’s doors to see if she’s with them! If not ask if anyone saw her! If I can’t get a hold of him by the time you’re done we need to contact the authorities!” I was like oh my god I left her and she probably got kidnapped!! Obviously she was totally fine haha. She ended up being with the group leader, explaining that she called him after no one answered our door when she knocked at 3am. She sent me a text saying but it never went through. Crisis averted 👍🏻
Once that was settled I got ready for our kayaking trip! The Atlantic water was much colder than the Mediterranean in Alicante, but also much clearer. I thought it was going to be more of a workout on my arms, but the water was flowing in the direction we were going in so it was a breeze. I was also in a double kayak with the guide so he let me stop rowing to take some pics!
Pretty cave-ish thing we went into. So many blues and greens!
About forty minutes later we pulled up to a small beach and sunbathed/snorkeled.
When it was time to go back we were hooked up to a boat because we were running late on time haha. Pretty silly but efficient!

Afterwards we got lunch and I had a rare beer. The place had the same glasses as Kenny haha. I also think it’s the Spanish Corona bottles are funny!
Next we hopped on the bus for a 6 hour ride to Seville. Cassie checked us into our sweet hotel (air conditioning! 🙌🏻) and ordered room service. She then went to chill with a friend while I watched Interstellar til 2am, pausing twice to email my parents about how good it was haha. Mom and Dad, pease get Whatsapp!
