Hiiiii!! Omgosh exhausted today. My calves were so sore. Still we walked around for 8 or so hours! After a hearty breakfast of fresh squeezed orange juice, espresso, and a mushroom/bacon scramble we headed to the nearby Parc Ciutadella. The park is huge and touristy with gorgeous fountains, green houses, gardens and a zoo.

We even did a bit of rowboat-ing in the center pond ☺️

[wpvideo zDKlAdcA]Lol at the name of this restaurant:

Next we stopped for refreshing made to order smoothies! My mango, papaya, orange and pineapple piece of heaven:

After more wandering through the city we attempted to go to the Picasso museum, but a line that might have well been a mile long inspired us to try first thing in the morning instead 😆. Dinner consisted on my first bowl of Gazpacho (a weird cold but yummy tomato/veggie soup) and a double espresso.  We then window shopped our way to “the most well-preserved gothic cathedral monument” in the area. It felt much more solemn inside compared to Gaudi’s creation. Still stunning.

More wandering. Found a place a local called the best restaurant in Barcelona so we’ll check out tomorrow! Then went to basically the equivalent of the Jersey Shore. It kinda sucked haha, so crowded and slightly dirty, but the farmers market on the way was fun!

We tried to go see Jurrasic World at IMAX but the theater was closed cause of Sunday which is so silly for a movie theater! 😡 We then considered shark diving at the aquarium but decided that going in a tank was lame haha. Got gelato and went back to the hotel for some rest!
