Lunch at the Villa
I’ve been considering getting my top lip defined with filler for the past few years so I could say goodbye to lipliner. The prices in Bali are about 1/3rd those in the US, but with just as reputable and experienced doctors. I went in for a consultation, but decided against it as the doctor said although she’s been injecting for 6 years and had only had one patient with an issue, there’s always a chance for complications, and it would suck to be on a plane and realize there was something wrong and not be able to do anything about it. One less step in my makeup process is not worth potentially ruining my face. I appreciated her being up front!
Shopping in Umalas
I wanted to look at jewelry, get some gifts and find the lava salt and pepper holders Varney has at the Villa to take home. There are a lot of cute shops and it made me want to bring back so much to decorate our home with! I love the Balinese crafts. Although I’m sure much of it is manufactured, idgaf as most of my home is decorated with Target but it still looks great haha 😎 However I was like okay I need to relax there’s no way I can fit this stuff in the one backpack I brought, so for home decor I settled on a cute inexpensive tiny finger sized elephant for our bookshelf 🐘🐘

Back at the Villa I received my final Balinese massage of the retreat! Then headed to dinner with Karen and Varney

The photos of my food aren’t pretty, but we shared rosemary potatoes, garlic broccoli, and bread. I also had the swordfish cooked in parchment with a side of polenta and a glass of Sauvignon blanc.
Back at the villa I showered and headed to the airport!
